 Habitat for Humanity of Berkeley County is a nonprofit,
ecumenical, Christian housing ministry that seeks to eliminate substandard and
inadequate housing from Berkeley County. Habitat partners with low-income
families, and volunteers from the community to build simple, decent, secure
housing. Habitat for Humanity of Berkeley County is an independent affiliate of
Habitat for Humanity International. They are responsible for their own building,
fund raising, volunteer recruitment, publicity and family selection.
