Jeffrey was born and raised in central Pennsylvania. After graduating from Middletown Area High School he entered the United States Army as a percussionist and served for 22 years in army bands. He has been featured as a soloist, served as drum major and was the leader of The Army Band of New England's Show Band. In addition to stateside assignments he has completed overseas tours in Japan and Germany. He met his wife Diane, a saxophone player and fellow member of the CCB, in the army and they now reside in Moncks Corner, South Carolina with their son Brandon.
Jeffrey has performed with the Charleston Symphony Orchestra and currently plays drums for Nancy Clayton and Charleston's Premier Big Band. He is also taking advantage of the G.I. Bill as a student with Trident Technical College.
