Thousands of people were once a part of Charleston Naval Shipyard. And thousands were stationed at Naval Base Charleston. Were YOU among those who were once a part of the proud shipyard tradition? Were YOU ever stationed at Naval Base Charleston? Did the shipyard or naval base touch your life in any way . . . was your aunt, uncle, brother, sister, mother, father, cousin, niece, nephew, or another family member employed there? Did you work for a company that provided service, material, or goods to those who did work there? Did you have a good friend that worked at the 'yard'? Do you still hold fond memories of the shipyard and naval base?
If so, GCNBM, Inc. is asking YOU to help us keep that proud tradition alive. A Greater Charleston Naval Base Memorial is being built in 'Shipyard Park' at the former shipyard. We are seeking donations from a variety of sources because right now, our most significant need is money.
We graciously and gratefully acknowledge our major contributors (as of March 19, 2002).

Won't YOU please help us keep the tradition alive by making a cash donation or participating in our Buy-a-Brick Program?
Checks and money orders may be sent to Greater Charleston Naval Base Memorial P.O. Box 190016 Charleston, SC.
